Smooth Stone

Plastic clay with no grog or coarse clay in the formula. Designed as a smooth throwing body but it is also used for handbuilding when a clean surface is required. A good compromise between stoneware and porcelain. It has a higher expansion which will help prevent crazing in glazes.
